CERT plays an important role at this event where we will need volunteers for 5 different shifts spanning over two days, Friday, May 8th (4:30 PM – 7:30 PM and 7:15 PM – 10:00 PM) and Saturday, May 9th (9:30 AM – 12:45 PM and 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM). Â Due to the number of volunteers, and the number of shifts, we will send a link to SignUp Genius.
Each shift will be 3 hrs and 15 min long. Most all of our activities will be assisting with pedestrian crossings. Â Please feel free to sign-up for several shifts. Â We will need nearly 40 volunteers to meet their request.
This is a wonderful community event, full of families having fun. Â Please come and join us in making this a safe and memorable event.
